What Is BIAB?
BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle, a thicker soak-off gel that's brushed onto the natural nail and cured under a UV or LED lamp. Unlike a standard gel polish, which is just a colour coat, BIAB adds a flexible reinforcing layer that helps weak or bendy nails grow out without splitting or peeling at the tip.
A skilled technician can build a subtle apex, the slightly raised centre of the nail, which is what gives BIAB its resistance to everyday knocks and typing. Because it's designed to be infilled rather than fully removed each visit, the natural nail spends less time exposed to filing and acetone.
BIAB vs Gel vs Hard Gel
Gel polish is a thin colour coat with little structural benefit, so it suits nails that are already healthy and just want colour. BIAB sits above that: it reinforces the nail plate itself, making it the better choice if your nails are thin, peeling or prone to breaking.
Hard gel is a step up again, a rigid enhancement ideal for adding length or fixing curved or downward-growing nails. BIAB is softer and more flexible than hard gel, which is why it looks and feels more like a natural nail underneath the added strength. Our nail technician will check your natural nail condition at your appointment and recommend BIAB, gel or hard gel accordingly.

That price includes old gel removal, nail shaping, buffing, cuticle treatment and the BIAB application in any colour of your choice, plus cuticle oil and hand cream. An additional service fee applies if previous product needs to be removed. Ask for BIAB specifically when you book, or combine it with a Russian manicure for the most precise, long-lasting finish.
